Compaq Cup

Today, in Sri Lanka, Compaq cup will start the season for indian team after a good break. The timing and schedule of this event is subject to debate. But this tournament will give a good enough practice to indian team before champions trophy.

After victory in two T20s, NZ will be on a high. Shane Bond, Ryder and Taylor can be dangerous especially, rain convert 50 over game in 20-25 over game. SL really need a middle order batter who can give them late finish, give impetus to the innings after sanath,dilshan,mahela and sanga fell. India have the fire power to come through these teams, and they really need to win this tournament to proclaim the No. 1 title in ODIs.

It should be short and sweet tournament, provided rain god will be silent for a week. My money will be on India. What about yours?
